Hey all just wondering on what the opinions would be of using a 26g bowfront as a QT tank for 4 - 6", 2 - 4", and 1 - 3" fish to save on mess and time/water with the wc's if I needed too? I have the tank already but if necessary id find something a lil bigger.

I would not use that small of a tank for those size and # of discus for 2 months of QT. That is less than 4 gallons of water per fish and if you miss one day of water changes you could have a disaster on your hands.

100% water change twice a day and you'd be fine. Make sure to pump a lot of air in the tank too. It's a small tank but we've all seen pictures of fish packed up tight. Keep the water quality and you'd be good to go but you can't miss a single water change imo.

To give you an idea Ben, when I bring in my adults I will put no more than 4 6" fish in one of my 29 gal qt tanks. So I'd say that's a bit tight my friend.

I'd pick up a cheap 55 off craigslist.
