Fish get ich!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My neon in my discus tank gets ich( white spot), in order from prevent it spread to my discus , what should i do ??????
!!!!!! and how to treat the disease!! please help!

82 , right now i turn up the heater(heating the water) maybe 2 degree up ,

Push it up to 86 and add some salt. The neons may not do well at higher temps.

do i need to seperate neon and discus? or is better put the neon on a hospital tank??
or i can treat the entire tank at same time, maybe the discus potentially get infected ,( is not visible due to the ick first develement??)

all 8 neon just die from the water i dissolved with the aqurium salt...
I was completely confused when i see that after i got back.....

what hack.... the tank is maybe 3gallon tank , and i doze half round table spoon of aquarium salt ....
the temperture is 86... anybody body have answer ...??????

Like Moon said they might not tolerate 86F.
On top of that they were sick and in a weakend state, the stress of the change of tank, temp and salinity might have been too much but most likely they were goners anyways.
FYI, never add stuff to water without knowing how much water you are diluting it in. You can kill fish by adding too much meds or salt. Salt dose is 1-2 tbls/10 gallon.

Chalk this up to a learning experience. ALWAYS QT your fish for 6-8 weeks before adding them to a tank with other fish.

take the neon out of the tank and put another tank with no fish and put medicine.

in the future, ich is simple to cure with what others said... just raise the temperature... yet beware about what other fish & plants can handle. sorry about your loss of neons. you don't ever need medication to treat ich. there are some that you can use but you don't need them.
