Sorry, it is the double decker on the stand for the 40 breeders. The tank below is to house the my non-contest fish when I select the eight fish later tonight.

Well, if you cross the line you may never be able to go back. All you can do is get more tanks. (Is that a water barrel blocking the door?

LOL,

I crossed that line along time ago. Pat, do you know you can get double decker racks from Fosters and Smith quite reasonably priced? with free delivery?

Sure you can but hopefully not. Yup, I have three of them along that wall. That door is seldom used.

Not surprised on that Rick. I like those double deckers from F&S. I bet they can not be built cheaper either.

Not so. You set your limit on tanks. You decide whether you want to sell off fish when they are quarters or wait longer. When you know what you want to do you decide on the size and deminsion of your tanks. I have only 2 breeder tanks. Everything else is for grow outs. Growing out takes time and space. It's easier to sell young fish.

They can be assembled and disassembled in about 30 seconds, so you have a tank stand on demand when you need it..

Oh honey, once you cross that line there's no turning back yanno. First you tell Tom that he doesn't really need to use that door to get to the next room, then you tell him he doesn't really need to get into the kitchen to eat and it just goes on and on.

When you're overflowing with babies and want to send some out here for the Jumbo Wilds experiment just let me know. I'm trying to convince Tim that he doesn't need to use the dining room...ever... LOL

After Tom talks to Tim could you have him talk with my husband?
He was fine with the 40G QT I got for the discus and their 75G DT....
He thought I was a little weird for doing daily wc's....
But now that I set up the 20G for the pair and their fry, bought a 50G to grow out the fry and now to top it off, I have a 2nd pair that is laying eggs, I think he has reached his limit. lol

Pat,
I think you crossed the line quite awhile ago like many of us. Just remember this saying.."furniture is over rated" if you start getting rid of it, you always have more places for tanks.;)

Oh boy Al, I have to be very careful here. Tom and I still live in the house which our daughter grew up in and it is a good sized house even without a basement. ATM my longest WC is 75 feet (hose wise). I have room for plenty more tanks but not the time with a full time job...and you are correct...already crossed the line.

Pat, about 15 years ago I had my fishroom in the dining room, about 15 tanks in there, I would clear off the table once a year for Thanksgiving, we would eat, then it was a fishroom for the next 364 days. I took a whole lot of ribbing about it from everyone I knew except my husband since he knew that I was selling a lot of the fish I raised in that room. Good luck with all yours! But I have to admit that life is much easier with only the 3 tanks I have now.

I have the perfect place in my living for a china closet... and we have some really nice china we inherited from my wife's grand parents. This place is really the only place where one would fit. However it fits a 125 gal tank as well...so the china sits now out of sight stacked up under the wood fish tank stand, next to the fish tank supplies.:)

Oh I have a better one Al. I have wanted a china cabinet since Tom and I were married 30 years ago. A short time back Tom found a gorgeous china cabinet on craiglists, he setup an appointment to go see it and I decided to pass. No tank in the dining room....yet :)...Tom was not happy with me to say the least. I am a critter person down to my toes.
