Here are fish from Martha Morris I will be entering in the contest. Martha was kind enough to keep these for me since she agreed to sell them to me August 1st.
She is planning on sending them to me next week when I get back from a short trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway/Asheville NC.
Al told me to post the pictures here and as soon as I get the fish he will put them on the contest section.

Taken August 1st.

Of course the Watanabe Cobalt pair stopped spawning after I sent the last batch to Skip. I do hope to get another batch from some of Hans' nice pairs but time is running out.

Don't lose hope Kraig! Pretty sure we got our Hans shipments at the same time and I've got two of the three pairs on eggs now, you and me both know how quickly they settle in, they may yet give you some more fry to keep you busy :) I'm hoping I get at least one more batch that I want to throw into the competition.

Nice Kraig. I am going to bring Martha down to Fla so she can show me how to get that nice uniform size across all the fry.

Not just the fry but the 2 and 3 inch fish are amazingly the same shape and size.

Nice Kraig! I'm sorta doing the same thing with Pat and her latest batch of f1 fry. They went free swimming today, and provided that enough of them survive to dime size, we're going to try to ship them out to me so I can raise them for the contest.

I'm also considering giving my Red Scrib/BT pair a shot at making me some babies before Sept. 1st.

Toni, I know Pat will have some very nice fish for you. It will be interesting to see you two compete.

It looks as if the Han's raffle fish's spawn is going to make it. They are free swimming for three days today.

Nice looking batch Kraig!

Thanks guys Martha did a great job with these. Too early to tell how Red Pidgeons will do. I lost a few today between morning and after work feedings.

Here is the first video of the M. Morris Red Turquoise. Very happy with these. They are in straight tap. My city water Parameters are pH 7.8, 200 ppm total disolved solids. I am feeding only beefheart so far and will also be fed a seafood mix and Al's Freeze Dried Blackworms. Water changes 75% 1st one today. Hope to find time to do them daily.

These guys are in a 29 gallon. There are about thirty the best I can count no more than 34.

I am using a little advice from Dale Jordan who claims the fish will grow faster in smaller tanks because he claims they can't use up as much energy as they would swimming in a big tank.

I am doing at least 90% water changes daily and I have pure pond and pure aquarium in the tanks. I also am using a typical quarantine measure on these new arrivals with a metro/copper treatment, to be followed by a prazi treatment and then one more metro treatment. Here is a video from Saturday, September 8th.

Here they are eating homemade beef heart mix. I am nearly completed with the quarantine measures, mentioned earlier, Metro, Prazi, Copper treatment. One fish of the did die a couple days ago, turned dark and bit the dust. The final eight will be picked this weekend as they will be two months old.
