To keep live Blackworms to feed? Not as a main staple but 3-4/wk. They already get the FDBW from Al daily.

keep in the fridge rinse twice a day, feed. I had to buy my own little fridge for fish room, wife didnot like them in with the other food. I ususlly use them for the last feeding of the day. Some of the fish won't eat the flake, frozen or freeze dried after having live worms that day, spoiled.

Do you think they can be kept in the garage now that cooler weather is on its way?

yes. you can keep at room temp , but will have to feed them and change alot of water or have bio going. The reason to put in fridge is to slow their metabolism so less waste and don't have to feed them.

whoa... I dont wanna grow them, just feed them as a treat now and then LOL. How long will they live in a fridge when rinsed 2/day?

I've had them in the fridge a month, but I usually run out way before that. I spread out a pound of worms between 3 plastic containers.

I may have to give this a try. I not going to say I love these fish, but they give me a lot of enjoyment and serenity.

I get a few ounces when the LFS has them. Man the fish LOVE them. But as said they don't last long. Mostly bc the fish love em!
