I seen in another thread about using Purigen. I got some and I do think the water looks clearer. My question is...if I am treating with Metro or PraziPro...do I need to remove the Purigen? Will it absorb the meds like Carbon does?

Best not to use Purigen when medicating.
It may not remove some, or all meds, like carbon does, but why risk removing any.

Thanks, that was what I was thinking too.

Purigen adsorbs mostly biological particles, but can adsorb meds to some extent. Id remove it also if you are medicating. Purigen and sand arent even remotely close to being the same. The only common ground they share is being used in a fluidized bed filter
