Hi, I can't find a plant scissor at my LPS, so I bought a scissor at Michael's. The brand is Fiskars. It's thin and long with titanium blade coating. I really like it but It has a little smell like oil. Has anyone used Fiskars or any other kinds of scissors?
Thank you

I have a nice pair of surgical scissors that are stainless steel and work well. They have a sharp point and small blades. Im not sure of brand but I can check you.

I bought an "Tom Aquatic Gardner" from Ken's Fish (A SD sponsor). 27" long with a scissor and grabber attachment. It was about $11, a fraction of the price of real surgical scissor. I trim my plants without putting my hands in my tank.

I use to use whatever the wife had laying around, which included her Fisker knock-offs. If you're going to kill your fish, it ain't going to be with scissors.

I do plan on in the very near future to purchase a pair of plant trimming scissors that will allow me to trim with putting my hand and half my arm and body in my tank. If I don't I guess I will have to invest in scuba gear!
