Depending the size of you qt tank, you could put in a divider.

Bigger tank just gives them more room to chase.20H easy to put divider in.

Keep in mind if you put divider in the tank who to say he will not continue to bully after there removed from the qt.

If in qt,assuming going into bigger tank eventually with more discus, shouldnt be a problem.

No there won't be any problems, hopefully they put on some size in qt my alpha in the main tank is a good 1.5" larger

I've had good luck with a piece of driftwood or a plastic plant or two. It's easy to simply take out the tank during WCs and replace afterwards.

I would try to put some driftwood in both ends of the tank.

i have had similar problems and the best think to do is to put a divider and after a couple of weeks set him free and sure he will stop bullying.
Leave them .. They sort it out
