Question!!!

When treating for worms, especially when you have more than 1 tank, how do you recommend decontaminating the python, nets, etc.? Im assumming that these items could reinfect the tanks with microscopic worm eggs!!! Please advise!!!!:confused:

I put mine in a tub of very dark purple PP

I bleach it overnight.

Run in very hot water and dip it in a bucket for 10 mins and dry it under sun. The solar usually kill everything.

I use bleach also (cheaper than PP)

Hot water and bleach and then make sure after you rinse to also let it air dry to make sure there is no smell of bleach.

Thank you guys.....I'll bleach, rinse with hot, hot water, and dry in the sun for the solar effect!!! Kris

How about salt water dip? Cheap and dont have to worry about remaining residue like with bleach.
