i read and hear all these exotic names for discus types..how are the names given and whythanks for all feedback

Different breeders come up with exciting names to sale fish. Most of it is a marketing game.

well.. most are just made up fancy names..

but if it has SPOTTED in name.. it will be probably have SPOTS..

have you seen the VOLCANO ERUPTION discus.. no?! i just made that up.. its that easy for who ever is selling :) :)

HOWEVER>. all discus are broken down into these Classifications (http://www.discusnada.org/classification.html).. check out the link.. it will help you..

Lol that's a flashy name Skip. I foresee some fish named volcano eruptions in the future if any breeders see this.
