Brown Growth

I have reduced the number of discus in my 60 gallon tank to 8. I change at least 75% of the water everyday, sometimes missing a day. I scrape the glass every few days. This brown grows all over the tank. I also notice my macaw's water dish turns brown as well. Have not been able to figure out what it is.

What are you feeding your fish? This happens with high protein diet, very normal just wipe all the side of the tank with a sponge when doing water change.

I am feeding frozen worms and a little frozen beefheart the last week.

Lights are usually on 14-16 hours/day
