The batch of eight is doing great all but the smallest. I almost didn't select the smallest fish because it was so much smaller than the rest but I liked the shape. The smaller fish was quickly bullied and seperated itself from the group. After it was not showing any interest in food I moved it to it's own 20 gallon.

Now down to seven. The little guy didn't make it. The rest are doing great and growing fast!!!! Water changes done once or twice daily. If I am able to do two water changes a day I do at least a 50% water change each time. If I only do one a day I do about a 80% water change. pH 7.8 200 ppm straight carbon filtered tap. Very nice Kraig, Can you refresh my memory, what is the approximate age of these guys and the approximated size?

I have one of these High bodied turqs from Kenny and Forrest, got it at 3.5" and it grew into a monster.

They will be three months old the first of October. I haven't measured them but there is a quarter on the side of the tank in the last two videos. I will make marks on the glass in half inch increments for the next video. Do you still have your High Body Turq? I would love to see a picture.

Still got him Kraig, here is a picture taken in Febuary when he was 7.5" TL (he is actually bigger if you measure him from bottom to top). I will try to get a recent picture sometime this week, as he has grown a bit more.

Rick these are old Mike Beals tanks and he used the PVC for the waste water from his drip system I think. I will eventually add a valve and then use for water changes.

They did look good until I hit them with Di Metro as a precaution. They have burned fins and are not well as many of the fish in the new fish room. I treated all at the same time. Some fish it did not affect others it took a heck of a toll on. The medication likely wiped out the biological filter and what a few fish are showing is classic ammonia burn.
They are stable now! The red pigeons were not affected at all. I would say 20% of all fish in the new room had a bad reaction to the drug.

They are looking great!!!! The rest of the batch have been in a 29 gallon and have not grown nearly as much. I just split this batch up today as 30 in a 29 is just way too many.

Couple of weeks ago I had a sponge filter in two tanks die off. The next day one dead fish and then a few with fin erosion. They seem to be fine now. So we now have six. Sorry for the news Martha.
