I bought some loose freezedried blackworms but it's difficult to get them to sink (my Discus won't feed off the surface). I don't want to waste them, and I'm about to make my first BH mix (courage, Tommy!)..would it be a good idea to add the worms to the mixture? Before grinding?

OR, take a small container like a juice glass, disposable pudding cup, yogurt cup, etc. and soak them for about 15 minutes before feeding. Poke them down into the water if they haven't all absorbed water and turned darker. This way most all of them will suspend in the water column rather than floating. It makes all the difference with my fish.

For the record, any sample of food I pick up that my fish won't eat goes into the next batch of beefheart. If I try to feed it to them at all before I toss it in the beefheart.
