Hi everyone. Need some advice fast. Two out of my eight juvenile (2 inch) discus recently had minor attack of fungus which I am treating with anti-fungus medicine. In the meantime I also acquired about 18 black tetras intended as tank mates for the discus. My problem is this. Since I am dosing the discus tank with anti-fungus medication, would it be safe to introduce the black tetras in this tank? Or should I wait until the fungus is treated and totally gone and the tank is medicine free? I am keeping the black tetras in a separate tank for now.
Thanks. Will appreciate an early reply.

continue to keep the black tetra in a separate tank for a few weeks, afterwards take one of your discus and put it into the tetra tank and observe them for the next 1 or 2 weeks, then it's safe to all them all in with your discus
