so i just recently bought my first two 3" juvenile discus. i have had them for about 5 days now and they have become very friendly and are eating already. the day after i got them, i noticed they had some small bits missing from their fins where it looked like it was healing so i added melafix. it doesnt seem like it has gotten better yet though. then soon after while i was watching them, i noticed that my blue snakeskin had a white spot on its tail, two on its upper fin and one right on the middle of its body which look too big to be ich. i was told that it is just excess slime coat and will wear off in time but im not sure if thats the case. my other solid blue discus has four spots on its tail 3 being very small, maybe too small to be ich and one a bit larger. they are currently in a quarantine tank with a kribensis and a few rummy nose and seem very active and happy, bright colors and no cramped fins. the other fish dont seem to have any signs of ich or disease. what might this be?

You may want to fill the questionnaire or at least post some picture; it will help you to get a better advice.
