Is the flow too much for my discus

Recently to keep the tank cleaner, i bought a overhead filter with a decently strong powerhead, the thing is i dont know if the flow is too strong for my discus, the tank is 300 L(70gal) btw and the filter processes 1500L per hour (350ish Gal)

The idea that discus cannot handle strong current goes back to the days when keeping discus was considered to be some form of black magic. In fact, discus are raised in the largest river in the world, the one with the largest flow rate. I keep wavemakers in all tanks more than 4' in width to increase flow. It's not a discus secret. All large cichlids do better with more circulation.

At my age, everything is irritating.
