What type would this be considered

This fish came from a blue diamond, red scarlet breeding. Not really sure what it would be considered if anything. Thank you for any response

Well, its a mutt genetically which isn't a bad thing but its a really pretty Discus. Very nice color and shape, and eyes. Its really not fair to try and classify it as a "strain" name since genetically its not one regardless of how it looks. Physically it looks like Gold Mellon ...or Gold Diamond.

what did the siblings look like?

Call it what you like. The point, as Al said, is that this is for sure a very good looking fish.

Well thank you for the compliments. There were some more like her but peppered up pretty bad.the rest turned out like the one pictured below. Thought it strange but the darker ones grew considerably slower than the whiter ones, but way healthier. Almost a 40% loss on the whiter ones. It was my first time breeding discus and learned a lot from my mistakes.

If you learned from your mistakes then that first spawn was a success. We all start somewhere. I will tell you though that you will from time to time make mistakes no matter how long you are in the hobby. It Happens. Its why discus are challenging to keep.
