It was my first time breeding discus and learned a lot from my mistakes.
If you learned from your mistakes then that first spawn was a success. We all start somewhere. I will tell you though that you will from time to time make mistakes no matter how long you are in the hobby. It Happens. Its why discus are challenging to keep.

Call it what you like. The point, as Al said, is that this is for sure a very good looking fish.

Well, its a mutt genetically which isn't a bad thing but its a really pretty Discus. Very nice color and shape, and eyes. Its really not fair to try and classify it as a "strain" name since genetically its not one regardless of how it looks. Physically it looks like Gold Mellon ...or Gold Diamond.

what did the siblings look like?
