    They have disappeared. Who knows why? They're good looking fish. I guess tastes just change. Once it was all about PB's then it was all about BD's. These day's it's all about spots. The more the merrier.

      Some pictures of the wrigglers from this past fall. For some reason I can't get them to attach to the parents. Tried lowering the water level and covering the tank with white paper (so parents are the darkest objects in the tank) but no luck. Fries became free swimming and basically perish within 48 hours.

        Those fry look very healthy! odd they can't attach. Next time around try adding some freeze dried rotifers if they don't attach in 6-8 hours.You don't need a lot.. soak in water and use a turkey baster to add to the tank. My guess is the parents aren't making enough slime.. If you get the fry eating rotifers, the fry will last long enough for the parents to make slime as the fry will still be nibbling and stimulating them. Give it a try.
