    Hello Everyone,

The start of a great fishroom. Mark, Anthony, Melissa and I are going to post new pictures on this thread as the fishroom develops. We hope you enjoy our pictures.

Looks good Patrick. One word of advice, though Im sure you already know this. Put in way more airline fittings and electical outlets than you think you could ever need, then you MIGHT have enough...lol.

Patrick, I agree with Susan. Looks like you need a few more outlets.

            Susan and Peter,

Thank you for the advice, I'll re-confirm with the electrician. But I think we are going to run heavy duty wiring thru the PVC. Each box will have 2 sets of outlets, one for lights and the other for 2 power strips. Tony, the electrician, has his own fishroom for guppies so I hope that he has taken that into consideration.

We are very excited about the fishroom. I think Mark will be posting pictures to this thread as well. I hope everyone stays in-tune with our little project over the next month or so.

            Sincerely,

            Patrick (Denver)

Got it. I always forget most folks plug power strips into outlets, increasing the number of devices. Power strips are so cheap, who can blame them.

on the eletric part of our fishroom in denver , we have outlets every 4 ft in our main room, which defintley wouldnt cut it, for air heaters lights etc. to simplify our electric problem we have changed our system to a central system , moving our 11,000 watt heater to the filter room in addition we have also moved our main pump to the filter room , also were the 550 gallon water storage is we have ran a 220 volt service out there to the garage for our air pump , in the basment we brought a 100amps of juice to a seperate fuse box panel .for the heater pump and all other outlets ,
our r/o water has been plumbed to the basement to bolth our filter room and our breeding room , in each room we will have 3 55gallon barrels to premix all our minerals p/h etc. we have run pvc pipe from the airblower in the garage to our main fish room also to the breeding room and our filter room . in our main fish room we have also added a switch outlet every 4 feet for our lights , although wont rely on lights hanging above tanks , only used when more light is desired, all other times will be runing 4 8ft 150watt strip lights,
I will be posting a whole bunch more pics give any ideas freely please
