Just a happy little video of the eight day old tiny «sharks». I had to separate the mother (who did a great job laying some 500+ eggs) as she was getting very aggressive with. The father is doing a great job – he must be one of the most patient fathers out there. This is the first time I manage to get this far (they did one round before this in the breeding tank, but mom ate all of the wigglers), very happy with how it's going so far.

Congratulations. The sight of fry eating from parents is something I never tire of. Your daddy fish is indeed a very patient father.Mama Bear -
Great work mate. Do you have a BBS factory ramping up so the "baby sharks" don't strip dad to the flesh?Comment

Great looking fry with nice round bellies and a great video. Keep up the good work Peter.

Day 16, so far – so good. I think I've only lost three fry since they hatched. Daddy continues to be very patient, but I wonder when he will start to get annoyed – they seem to try really hard to bite him at times. They are starting to get the taste of some dry food, but BBS is still their main staple. LOTS of work this … I am wondering how much I can automate this when they get a bit older …
