    New nursery

    Ok, I know it's early but here is a picture of my new nursery. These 2 have been shimmying at each other for a couple of weeks. But last night, they laid eggs. I'm not sure which one was laying but there were definately eggs on the sponge. Course they ate them as fast as they laid them, but that was ok. Now the big question, do you see 2 girls or a guy and a girl? If its 2 girls, CARY, I need a stud for these 2. If you see a girl and a guy, CARY, never mind!

                      Thanks Jeff, yours are spectacular too. I got them from ACA in Cinn. I just hope its a girl and a boy, not 2 girls.

                                  I meant to say I got them from Cary at ACA in Cinn. and thanks for all of your kind comments. My office manager is an artist...you should see what she did to my grow out tank.

                                      wow I got mine from Cary too about two years ago. They gave me their first small hatch a few weeks ago and their last hatch started free swimming two days ago. ;D

                                              Keep a record of how often they spawn next to the tank, normally they will spawn every seven to ten days. If your log shows them spawning every few days, they're probably both females. Also the females vent will look larger than the males.
