    Brine shrimp eggs

I am about to order BS eggs for the first time in over 30 years. I use to get OSI BS eggs which no longer exist. I am looking on the Brine Shrimp Direct site. Which eggs do I need to order? What BS eggs do most here use?

I've used 70%, I've used 90% It really doesn't matter except for more useable eggs with he 90% so a tiny fraction less spent on shipping of eggs that don't hatch. That said, I think most folks here buy 90%

I buy the 90% hatch rate but usually toss 1/2 of them because I harvest a new batch every day using 2 hatcheries that I start a day apart. What you're wanting is the yolk sack and not the bbs itself, and after 24 hours the yolk sack is depleted.

I actually ran out of eggs recently and found some that had been in my freezer for I'm guessing 15 years or so and the hatch rate is noticeably I decreased but I still get enough that hatch to feed my fry. I'd imagine the 80% would be fine.

The SF Bay eggs are smaller than regular salt lake variety and more expensive.

Ordered 8oz of 90%. If I was going to raise them artificially like we used to I would have bought the SF.

I use SFB bs eggs for a few days for newly free swimming fry then switch over to 100% BS direct.
