Finally joined the dark side of wilds...

Yesterday, I got my first set of wilds. 4 green tefe wilds from Underground Aquaticz. It was shipped from NJ to CVG vie UPS next day air. Two bags leaked and had minimal water in it but all survived. Good thing the wife was home They're settling in good and have good potential I think. I plan to observe/quarantine them for 4 weeks or more especially since they look tiny compared to my set of five 5" wild cross. Everyone will eventually be together in the 180. They already ate some bloodworms yesterday and are already brightly colored an hour after my wife just plopped them in the tank. I can't wait to get more wilds, shipping can be a hit or a miss though and fish have sharp fins! iPhone makes photos so much nicer in person. The fish are nice, but not that nice if you know what I mean. I'm also not that good looking but the photos brought out my best angle Last photo is from my fish/music room ring camera.

Plenty of potential in those greens Arkmann. Welcome to the wild side. Please note it takes awhile for wilds to show their true potential. They simply get better over time and there is a good change they may grow some also.

You should get intouch with Daniel from Rio Negro Discus he has some awesome Heckels and I am probable going to get one more myself. Daniel is a sponsor here and he has some very healthy fish. Hopefully I will get some videos while I am there. Also he meets you price cap by a bit.
