Hey Second Hand Pat , I also got a few new wilds from Rodrigo at La Paz Aquatics this week. Extremely happy with them, they arrived healthy and happy, recovered fast and were eating the same day I put them in the tank. La Paz is a wonderful resource for people looking for high quality wilds.
Here is a vid (too large to upload directly) and some pics. The three new discus are still quite pale, the other nine are really showing their color. Al recently warned me that my shoal might be underweight, so I've started feeding them more and just dewormed them in case of parasites.

Hi Tristan, that is a gorgeous tank and the fish look good. Guessing you added the new fish in with the old fish. Be sure to watch for cross contamination issues. Personally I always quarantine the new fish. My new fish also settled in nicely and eating the first day. So which ones did you get?

Thank you Al and Pat! Yes, the three new ones went straight in. I don't have a quarantine tank sadly but I trust Rodrigo by this point, he received those new discus from Columbia a few months ago and has been quarantining and medicating them since. We've been in communication a lot the last couple months, I'm keeping at eye out for anything but I believe in his methods. I went with Iripixi royals and Batata semi royals, they bring a little more pattern to the shoal.Comment
