    Discus hiding

I recently graded my 75 gallon and my eight discus to 125 gallon. On the first day, my discus were out swimming around. Now for the past couple days, they are in hiding. All of my water perimeters are great. The only difference I did was add, few more tetras because the tank was 50 gallons more. I thought having more dither fish. The discus would like. I just can’t figure out why the first day they were all swimming about and now hiding. Do I need more discus?

Maybe you have a cross contamination issue? Salt and lots of water changes.

        Re: Discus hiding

I had to move a discus into a qt tank because of aggression and for the first week or so it would hide a ton. I am pretty new to the hobby but I think it is just stress from moving and should resolve itself like it did for me.
