Hi Gary, based on fins and a "delicate" look to the fish I would guess female. Hopefully Liz will chime in as guessing this one is one of her breeding. Super nice fish.

The fins say female but the underline says male.

It is in a tank with two other known females that have laid eggs. This one has not shown any interest when the other two lay eggs. They beat this up some. My wife thinks it is a female, I am not sure.

I really am conflicted on this fish.. my initial gut reflex was female but the way it holds its fins says Male and the info Gary shared that its in with two females that beat on it says its an immature male..

They want to breed and he is not ready..

Here is s close up picture showing a breeding tube. Looks female to me, but "she" has not laid eggs. Any opinions now?
