Any breeding?

I have a pair of pigeon bloods that I had asked for help on a while back. Haven't had any luck with the fry attaching so far. They should be laying eggs again friday, if they follow the cycle they have been. Just lost a batch from them sunday. Hoping for the best. This last time I covered the sponge filter with a white cloth bag with drawstrings to tighten. it up. Turned the blue lights on to hopefully make the parents seem darker to no avail. I did mess up and not drop the water level down. Thought I would have another day before free swimming to do it, but they were a little early and didn't want to risk sucking them up. Hopefully all goes better next time.

good luck there! Definitely try lowering the water to their backs.

Well got home from work today and they were laying eggs like I thought they would. Looks like a good number of eggs for them. Last time very few eggs turned white. Hoping for the best

I had a break awhile back in Feb. last year and was able to still breed some batches otherwise my schedule is too busy.

Thanks Al. I had an stroke then came irregular heartbeat and last Parkinson Disease so every day is a sturggle, some good days and many bad days.
