Al- I bought 2 of those shelves for my 40 gal breeders. I put them together this weekend. What's surprising is that they are rated to hold 335 pounds but a 40 gal breeder weighs more than that... It's a little disconcerting. Anyhow, I used some shims to even it out as best as I could in the garage (it's sloped), but figure that if it's a little off it's not the end of the world.
I'll take some pics of the tanks and post. I have blue diamond and turq breeding pair with about 50 fry (small brood) in one tank, and burgendy red covers that layed eggs last night in the other 40 gal breeder. I adding a breeding cone in with the burgendy discus and they still layed eggs on the filter (:
