need large net for moving breeder discus

hi guys. need to move large breeder pair from main tank to dedicated breeder tank. could use help in buying a good quality net that minimizes chance of injury in transfer and large enough to ease the stress of netting the discus fish.

Looks like at Amazon it's not available anymore. It's a shame they are great nets.
Here is one on eBay Listing
I don't know if it's the same but looks similar but 6" not 8".

You mean you guys haven't trained your discus to jump out of the tank on Command? Its way easier to spend the time doing that. Mine are trained to jump out into a 5 gal bucket..It makes moving them so easy.

Seriously, I used to buy my nets from Jehmco before buying them from Amazon but they had no stock. Looking at their website..it looks like they have larger nets again this time with stainless steel handles..may be worth a call..

As someone that shipped USPS and UPS for years for a business... I can tell you shipping anything has become expensive to the point of insanity. Its choking businesses and customers financially. People are so conditioned to the "free" Amazon Shipping that it makes the shipping seem so much higher. Amazon shipping isn't really free either..You just pay in advance with your Prime membership, and sellers pay as well with their fees.

When I order anywhere, I maximize return by order More than just an item... Shipping has a sweet spot that you get the most value at.

Plastic colander for me. No chance of a spine or fin getting caught up in netting.
At my age, everything is irritating.

like the colander idea. the discus are transferred and happily breeding. a day after transfer to 20 high. i used a soft mesh net of 8 inches.
