My ex used to say "well, crudballs". That's a nicer way to say that the pair spawned again last night and the 2 remaining fry I was nursing have disappeared. I have no idea why they get so angry and defensive when I approach the tank if they're just going to eat their children

I know this recent spawn isn't viable. They were in regular tap water and this time she laid on the back wall of the tank in about a one foot wide area. I'm not sure what's all about, lol...

They're coloring up nicely! What I really like about these discus isn't just their brilliant orange color, but that they don't have the white faces that others similar strains have. These begin to color up from the fins first and the body follows quickly. These are not color fed. In about another 3 or 4 weeks they should be evenly colored...

It's a shame that you are having such a hard time getting another spawn. I'm not fond of PB's but yours are good fish.

Finally have a very small spawn of about 5 or 6 fry. Just like their parents, I guess this is all I can expect out of these guys. Let's see if they make it...

And I also need to work on my camera skills!
