Oh dear…

So currently it appears that both red covers are female. The male tiger turk and 1 of them are cleaning a spot on the black rear panel, and the blue diamond male and the other red cover are cleaning a spot on the sponge filter. The female tiger has been poking her nose in and getting run off by the male.

Questions;
-> if the male TT and the RC spawn together, will it still be possible to pair the TT’s alone at a later date?
-> what would potential fry look like from a TT x RC?
-> what would potential fry look like from a BD x RC?

It also does appear that the albino red golds are both female, the larger of the 2 vying for male attention

I hope this tank doesn’t turn into a blood bath with a bunch of “in the mood” adult discus

I have no real experience crossing a RC to a different strains, but from what I know about RC genetics, and my instincts, tell me that the results of the crosses you're considering would not be good. Miranda has some fish that would cross well with your RCs. Take a look. Remember, with red strains, the female is always more intensely colored than the male, which is the opposite of what usually occurs in nature.

If I were you, I'd remove the TTs to their own 29. A male and female Discus will always spawn if they're alone in a breeding tank and have no other choice of a mate.

I’m not really considering these crosses as an intentional thing, but was just wondering what the outcome of what I was observing might be.

TBH I wasn’t thinking breeding at all when I acquired this group off Dan. I was hoping for a glorious and peaceful cohabitation

So correct me if I misunderstood, you are saying that at any point that separate the TT’s to their own tank that they should breed? Just like any male & female discus of put alone together would do?

You got it right. It's better to separate them now rather than after they've spawned with a fish of a different strain if you want the fastest results. Just imagine being in love with one lady and making a kid that you both want, then suddenly someone takes your darling away and gives you some other broad that you have seen but ignored. Wouldn't it take you longer to want to get it on with the new lady? Yes, I do tend to anthropomorphise.
