discus and angles

can discus and angels do well together i am getting a 135gal tank i have 10 discus tetras and cory in a 90 gal now

A lot of people say no, but many of us, including me, have had the two together. I think it depends on the temperament of the individual fish.

My experience is domestic angels are a little aggressive at feeding time and will push everyone out of the way , However strangely my wild Altums are much more docile and blend right in with discus even though they are much bigger.

I have keep Angels and Discus ,without any problems, pretty much for the last 20 years .Only exception is when an accidental pair up/spawn happens with is a normal behavior. Currently I have in my main tank 5 Discus and 4 Angels no issues.
