Tiger Botia Loach: okay, or not?

I'm setting up a tank that didn't have discus in it. Putting discus in it. My main planted tank has clown loaches for snail control and the discus do fine with them.
This tank has a pleco and tiger botia loach. I'm giving away the pleco, but am considering keeping the loach. The new discus tank won't be planted. Should I put the loach in my planted, give it away as well, or will it do okay with my new non-planted discus tank?

The two tiger loaches I had in my loach setup were extremely beautiful but also extremely aggressive towards other fish. I haven't tried them with discus, but would rather not. How big is your's? They can get quite big also. http://www.loaches.com/species-index...archterm=tiger

It's about 3.5". I don't think I'm going to keep it. This dude likes to dig around too much! I'll just go with good ol' cories. :-)
