This is going to be a really tough contest !
All you guy's are doing such a nice job, and the fish are looking fantastic.
It must be so much fun watching them grow.
With the common assessment of appetites from the challengers, I'm wondering if these guy's aren't crossed with swine or something ?
Glad you all have a great bunch of eaters !
Your fish are getting big too, and I'm loving the colors !
Great job, keep up the good work -
    B

    Fantastic Brian!!
I'm new here on the forum and love raising this magical fish. I really enjoy what Al has done to show us all what raising discus is all about. I have been watching the lucky ones here and abroad raising their fish. It is very useful to me as a beginner. So all I have to say is keep the pics coming!!!

    Re: 12/27

It's hard to guess at growth rate. All I can do is assume. I do know that a hungry juvie that gets all it can to eat has the potential to grow up to 1" per month for the first few months. Since Jack unpacked them and hasn't seen them since, I'll have to get him over and get his opinion. I've been off work for the past week and will be for another, so they're getting 8-12 feedings per day. After I go back to work they'll be down to maybe 3 per day. We'll see if things change

Right now they're in a 20g breeder tank with 2/50% WC's per day. I'll get them into a 40 or 55 this weekend, depending on the time I have. I already have the wood cut for the 40. Just need the space
