    October 2018 "Pic of the Month" Poll

    Hi Folks,
    We have just closed out the month of October in our Photo of the Month Club project where members get to "Pick a Pic" they like and nominate it... You can find out more details here...

    We have a new project at SimplyDiscus ! For lack of a Better name its called the "Photo of the Month Club" .     Lot's of great pics were nominated, and this month's winner will receive one of Disgirl Barb Ogden's breeding cones, generously donated by our own Second Hand Pat.

    Its now time to vote. Please help us "Pick a Pic" and vote on the picture you like best from the following. That image will be October's Photo of the Month. Voting will be open through November 15th.

      Never hurts to have some motivational reinforcement in a contest. So I snapped some pics this morning of the parents of your Contest Fry with their new batch of fry and thought I would share a few.. I would love to see you guys post pics one day of your contest fry all grown up and paired up and carrying fry too! :)

              A shot taken on a 3 week trip touring 7 states. Camera was a Nikon Coolpix that died so no details. As far as editing, some small tweaks with my Cannon software

                      Im very excited for this new pair I had success with. Wanted to share some pics here. Both the parents are similar looking. Male is a wild green (looks more like a wild brown with some color) female is a Curipera Cross from Al castro from his famous Red Curipera Cross babies that I grew them out.

                              I love my DSlrs... nothing beats them for image quality and versatilty. But smart phones really can take some seriously nice pictures. Heres one I recently snapped that I really like. What do you think? Anybody have any phone pics they think came out really cool or interesting? Al
