I checked out the hotel on line. I don't care about the room, I care about the food. The restaurants sound very good. Dottie cares about a fridge in the room. It pisses her off when there's not one. I see the rooms have a fridge. The bar says it stays open until closing (?). It needs to stay open until the wee hours for the drunks among us. I absolutely cannot wait!!!!!!!

This hotel has two awesome looking independent restaurants in it and the bar between them looks like it will fit the bill too. The first is the name sake of a person synonymous with Chicago, Harry Carey's. The name of the second cracks me up for a discus show...Holy Mackerel. Looked at the menus, food looked yummy and I didn't think the prices looked bad either. And that's from an accountant from Wisconsin.

Smaller ballroom style that can be divided into four. Great access to water, which the fish are happy about.

Very nice. I loved the ballroom area, great views. The amenities for the rooms look excellent as well. Looks like a super nice place for sure!

You want bbq you'll have to head to the south side for that.Just so people understand,this is a suburb of Chicago,but with great access.You can pop into the city or you could go north about 45 mins away to Great America and HUGE outlet shopping malls.
