    Challenge wrap up

This challenge is over in a few days. It has been a great experience,i have learned a lot.I just wanted to wrap this up with a few time line photos. These challenge discus are incredible, through out this year they have never stumbled. Healthy, strong and vibrant. They have received 370 +/- water changes and approx 2590 feedings. Even when things got tough with work, moving, injuring my back and life in general, i still did my best to give them the best care possible. In the end i think everyone who has taken a part in this challenge has won. The hardest part of this whole thing and what has been taxing me the most is trying to choose just one out of the 6 for judging. Anyone who has been thinking of taking part in the next challenge should do so. Regardless of your experience level it will improve your husbandry skills. Thanks to everyone who has given me input and who have replied to my updates.

Thanks for all the positive feed back and nice comments. One thing for sure, this is a tight competition. Everyone raising these challenge fish has done a outstanding job. i could not have asked for a better group to be working with. What i like the best about this challenge is how everyone involved struck to their programs. That says a lot about the competitors and their confidence levels. A lot changes over a years time and to be able to keep up with your routine though it all at times is difficult. For me it has proven my commitment to this hobby. It is way more then just wc's and feedings Good luck to all the contestants. Everyone wins at this one

The fish look great. You are 100% right about the competition. The way I look at it is we won the day we received them. Have they decided it will be 1 or the 6 of them. Can't wait for the details on this. Good luck to you.
