Well not much has changed with the challenge fish. Their growth rate has slowed down. They are being fed 4 times a day with beef heart- seafood mix, brine shrimp, and pellets. All are eating well and there seems to be no problems with any of them. The only question I have is with them breeding. The 2 that have been breeding were at it again the other day. I did see the smaller one laying eggs but the other one started eating them right away. Since it didn't lay eggs am I safe to assume that its a male and whats with the egg eating. Oh well , maybe next time they will get it right.

Re: 2-4 Update
They all look great Jim, really like the setup you gave them.
The discus in the bottom right of the full tank shot looks like the big boy of the tank.
Don't believe it's uncommon raising a group of juvies to adults, the males just take a little longer to mature sexually.
Hoping to see you with a tank full of fry soon.
Good job Jim

Your discus look fantastic! Nice and thick and healthy. I like how your tank is set up too.
