Week 23

23 weeks with these guys and everything is still going very well.
Their health and routine has been very consistent, feed beefheart/shrimp, flake and pellets with 80% daily water changes.
It seems too simple of a recipe to raise discus but it really is when they are healthy from the start.
Figured I would only add 1 tank shot this week just to show their size in their 4 foot 80 gallon tank.
Been a little busy and have final inspection today on a new deck, stairs and garage, finished just in time before the rains.

Well, looks like I have to install a handicap rail to the stairways so it's back to work for another couple days.

Not no more buddy, more than half the contest to go and I see your discus coming on strong. I don't believe there is any substitute for your own mix.
Anyway it's all just a lot of fun. I'm anxious to see if these guys pair off and spawn before it's all over. I don't remember them doing that last year, guess I should go back and check.
