NEDA Winter meeting in NJ! Saturday, February 11th.

Hello everyone!

After speaking with Al, we would like to host the Winter NEDA meeting here at my place in Edison, New Jersey!

Like last time, we would start around 12:30pm with get together and general fun with libations, followed by a visit to our wild fish stock, returning to my house for food and possibly a presentation on a topic yet to be decided.

Last time here, we had a great turn out and I seem to remember people loving the food so I will prepare all the food again (with a vegetarian option for Ashay!), those attending can bring a dessert, snacks, or libations. Please reply with attendance and what you intend on bringing so everyone can complement the offerings!

It is no secret that Bob and I have started importing wild discus from Brasil, so come ready to see some good fish and spend some quality time with friends! For those who have never attended a NEDA event, all are welcome! It's a great chance to meet fellow discus nuts from the East coast! Great chance to put a face to a name, there is no fee, there are no requirements other than having a good time!

ALLRIGHT ! AL's In !!!! Looking forward to some great food, drink, good friends and discus talk.

Here is what we are going to do. Rod and I are going to sponsor a RAFFLE !
We will be selling raffle tickets to all attendees for $5.00 each. You can buy as many as you want and at the end of the night we will pull the winning ticket. Whats the prize going to be is probably in all of your minds. New Jersey Discus will be donating one young, 5 inch Curuai Royal Discus for one lucky winner. Now the best part is, all proceeds of the raffle will be donated to Simply Discus. Below is a pic of the Young Royal.

Great, you guys picked the weekend I am most likely going to be able to attend providing weather will co-operate (I hate winter driving!!) so I will reserve my spot as well till the time gets near.

I am in. Nice note in advance to plan accordingly. I will keep that weekend open. Last event was fun cooking Gnocchi and by far the best - drive to NJ with Patrick and Al. I am in for sure.. BTW Dynamic Duo has a copyright - Patrick and I - RO water transport, tanks, many more things we have done.

Where are u Patrick..

Man, Norm has informed me that he has exams that coming week so he will be studying so he can't babysit.

Now, the hunt for a babysitter begins along with the request in for mother nature to co-operate

My attendance once again will be last minute...some things never change.

Hey guys... Sorry I missed this...had my hands full the last few days... Thats a really generous thing to do for the forum and I real nice looking wild to boot.. If anyone wins it and for someone reason can take it home...be glad to adopt it!
