    Camellia/Cappa Leaves

Has anyone used Camellia leaves instead of Cappa leaves?
Just wondering if you can cut green Camellia leaves instead of waiting for them to fall? (Sugars/Starch) and dry them in an oven.

Can get hold of Oak leaves and Alder cones but I have two Camellias in the garden and know they are clean.

Steve I have only ever used oak leaves and bark in my tanks. Some people do use tea but alot use Rooibos now as ut has no caffiene. If you use camellia dry it thoroughly and use sparingly at first.

Thanks, cut from the bush (Green) dry in the oven or wait for them to fall (Brown)
Did notice the tea is low in tannins?

Hi Steve, I have used rooibos tea in my tanks especially with new fish. Altum angels keepers think the tea has a calming effect affect on their angels but there is no proof of this. I have also using oak leaves in my tanks but I mostly hung a bunch of oak leaves in a mesh bag in my WC bin.
