    Angels from Minnesota

I visited my friend Chuck Hawks today to see his new fishroom and took these pictures of his great angelfish.

    Breeding pairs first:

    Assorted semi-adults.

The double black veil and standard are quite stunning, IMO

    A fabulous Zebra Lace juvie:

    Chuck's future breeders:

    Some more assorted semi-adults:

    It's all good.

Beautiful Angelfish, great colors. Those Zebras are awesome.

I'm almost speachless. These are VERY good fish Linda. You're friend Chuck Hawks knows quality. (I also like how he will stick a plant in whatever container is at hand). They are all something to behold but the body shapes and patterns of the fish in your next to last pic makes me tingle all over. What does he call them?

IMO however many strains they breed, i still think you can't beat the original Silver and Black combo, althougth i must admit, those Zebra are absolutely stunning!

I agree. I prefer the Wild Silver Color myself, but again, I like all strains.
And it is the same with Discus and Guppies, for some reason, I like the wild ones more.
There is just something special about the natural colors...

I think those are smokey Leopards, Liz.

IMO, Chuck really knows his stuff and his angelfish genetics and he produces some of the best angels out there.
