    Real Bad Snail Problem

I seem to have a major snail problem in my planted endler tank.

I wanted to see if any baby mystery snails would make it to the planted tank and survive. The answer apparently is yes.

Ha! You must have enough food for them in the tank. Of course, if you don't, what a mess.

What amazes me is the only filter on that tank is a single hydro5 air driven sponge.

What do you feed them, Al? Mine aren't nearly as prolific.

Lol..well that would solve the issue but all those baby snails will hopefully grow up into nice big Mystery snails. I have a large black Vat that I plan on moving them to for the next few months.

You have a good snail problem, I have a bad snail problem. I have pond snails in my shrimp tanks and wish I could get rid of them without harming the shrimp.

Generally assassin snails will target your snails not your shrimp.. If I had that problem I would try assassin snails. You may lose an odd shrimp or two to them but its not common. Shrimp are too fast.
