Re: Let's see what I can do
Pretty nice if you ask me Chuck, Flickr will allow you to embed them. Use the embed and pick the size of the image. I would suggest about 1024 either length or width.

If using flickr on your phone it's harder to embed.. I haven't found a way with mine. From the home computer a piece of cake.AquaticSuppliers.comFoods your Discus will Love!!!

Re: Let's see what I can do
Guys you both are doing great.
Chuck , I downloaded your image and looked at the Xif metadata recorded parameters .... Last image 0029
The pic is very good ..you do have some parameters that can be changed when you take the pic to give you even better results. I'm not familiar with the d5000 but I am sure it still has flexible user settings.
What was the lens you used... I can see the pic was at 300 mm but not the lens.. 75-300 zoom?AquaticSuppliers.comFoods your Discus will Love!!!

Re: Let's see what I can do
Chuck..looks like you have it set to "m"?
Switch to""A" set iso to 80O. The camera will set an appropriate. Shutter speed. If the pic comes out too bright...look for +/- this can decrease or increase exposure. Incrementally.
The pic you took was f 14.. 1/125 sec.. As you lower that. F number the shutter will increase speed as a result.. Stops action and blur..sharper pics....
The pics you shot worked ok in full sun... In lower light they would be blurry.AquaticSuppliers.comFoods your Discus will Love!!!

Hey Chuck not bad there .. try increasing the camera Iso setting and set the Aperture f stop to the lowest number on the lens. The iso increases sensitivity to light, the Aperture changes the amount of light in through the lens.. the two together can reduce camera shake that causes blur .
