    Wet Hawk

My son-in-law Mike came over last week to help me with some chores and we had several quick but heavy rain showers during the morning. As we were sitting out on the front porch waiting for the rain to stop the resident hawk flew to the phone pole near to the house. It was soaked. I grabbed the camera and started shooting. Here's a couple of the images of the hawk.

Those pics are amazing. I can't believe how sharp. You can even see the nares. In the second, the hawk looks as mad as a wet hen. I also love the third where he's resting with his feathers held so that they can dry. I didn't think it was possible, but you are getting even better!

Thank you Liz, the hawk was a bit far and I cropped pretty heavy into the original image so I am really happy with the sharpness of the photos. I may get a little creative with one or more photos of this guy.
