My neighbor, Jack was like that. He could to anything. I miss him as much as I would miss a family member.

Why Thank You Al (you get a big huge LIKE for this) and yes, my dad meant a lot to me. Many of the principals he taught me growing up I applied to rearing my daughter and she is a fantastic person. Diana posted a photo of one of my dad's creations. This is a "shop fan" complete with a recycled vacuum cleaner cord as a power cord lol.

Love the custom cooker/fire pit Al. You remind me of my dad. He was always picking up other peoples throwaways and reinventing it into something else.

Lmao!
Ok so the Get together got an extension.
Tonight we grilled up some nice Ny Strip steaks and london broil over my custom cooker.
The campsite we camp at requires you bring a fire pit or rent theirs. Their fire pit is a metal wash basin . Seeing that I decided to kill 2 birds one stone. Modify it to a grill. Cook on it and then its a firepit. $22 homedepot wash basin.. some rebar and a grill.

Re: barbq chicken for the masses
That actually makes perfect sense. You are going to laugh but its because of the snakes.
I buy a big pack of wings and cut a bunch up into wing and drumette. My snakes eat the wing section.. we usually eat the drumette.
I make freezer packs that contain both.. Thaw a pack.. snakes get some.. we cook the rest. .
We eat the legs and tails off our rats and the snakes get the bodies.

You are going to laugh but its because of the snakes.Any reasoning behind leaving some wings intact and other divided wing/drumette?

That's a lotta chicken. Any reasoning behind leaving some wings intact and other divided wing/drumette? I always cut mine when I make them, but a big part of me thinks it's not worth doing. However, the kids eat the smaller pieces readily, but wonder if they would be weird about it being connected for some reason.Leave a comment:

Jake,
I posted a seasoning I use awhile back
...
Hello all, If you use salad dressing and marinades and are a label reader its pretty discouraging the junk they throw in. Artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, soy oil (I really don't like it), high fructose corn syrup( I really really don't like it) etc. I grill alot and use italian dressings as part of my marinade. I
Its my go to.. In this case I used it dry rub to cook and we had a bunch of dipping sauces...Leave a comment:
