I was off Asian for a while, but when I read this, it sounded so good I had to give it a try. I tasted the marinade after making it and felt that it needed more sweetness so I added a bit of brown sugar. The result was amazing, the recipe was better than great. Give it a try. Tonight is a good old American beef stew, but I think I'll make the chicken thighs again tomorrow. Even Brooster thought it was good. I didn't tell him that he was eating one of his relatives.

It didn't give me crunchy skin, lol, but when I made the recipes, the skin was moderately crunchy. Keep in mind that it does have marinade on top of the skin. You could stick it under the broiler for a minute to make it crunchier but it can never be fried chicken crunchy.Mama BearComment
