We are doing this all wrong!

Seriously, we really are doing this all wrong. I came across an article on how bit coin miners are using the heat from their computers to heat fancy spa's ..

A handful of establishments are attempting to harness energy from intensive computing for greater societal use.

It got me thinking we are wasting alot of potential. We should all start bit coin mining ! We then use the heat from the computers to heat our discus tanks and fishrooms. We then use the money from the Bit coin mining to buy more Discus, tanks , and Computers to expand the process. Its really a perfect feedback system and we no longer have to worry the financial cost of the hobby.

    Happy Monday!

I think the electricity from mining would cost more than heating my tanks, lol...

LOL.. Thats too funny. I actually have the parts to make that..I removed the motor from a treadmill on the side of the road a few years back to make something similar. Never did get around to it though.

Hey Chuck, I optimized your suggestion. Get rid of the Inverter, its inefficient.. better to keep the heater as a DC from the battery These are used in water troughs on farms.I have a few of these as well I am going to use for a solar array to my chicken coop and turtle pen ....some day

It was suggested to me when I was recovering from my hip fracture was to buy a recumbent exercise bike. I'm supposed to ride it every day, and I do...mostly. If I had something like that, which I have no clue how to do, it would give me more of an incentive. I have no clue what I'd use the electricity for, though.
