    French Blues

Last year i got into Endler Guppies again for some novelty. I have 3 strains here, fire red- K class, and for N class I have Painted orchids and French Blue. I really need to take some good pics of these as they really are beautiful fish they are so hard to get photo...I will need flash for these. Still the French Blue are in a well lit tank so phone pics are ok . just not crisp.

Those look really nice. I’ve really been enjoying mine. I got them kinda for the same reason just something fun and easy to breed. My populations are exploding. I’ve been away for the week (just having someone drop a little food in a couple days) and it’s a fish I never have to worry about.

I found that I didn’t necessarily need flash with them but I did need a lot of light. I took one of my emersed plant light strips and put it directly over the specimen container I pulled the males out into and covered the back with a black microfiber cloth. I have an extra container I think I’m going to just paint the back black specifically for photos.
